Lazio and Napoli’s European hopes for next season were hit as both sides failed to win for the sixth Italian league game in a row on Saturday.
Lazio were held by lowly Torino 1-1 at Rome’s Stadio Olimpico.
The point did at least end a run of four straight defeats for Delio Rossi’s Lazio after Sebastiano Siviglia equalized for the hosts following Ignazio Abate’s first-half opener for Torino.

Abate opened the scoring on 36 minutes with a shot from distance after French midfielder Olivier Dabo had lost the ball in midfield.
But 15 minutes from time, Siviglia headed home a cross from Stefano Mauri to salvage a share of the spoils.
In an otherwise uninspiring match, the biggest drama came a few minutes into the second half when referee Massimiliano Saccani was knocked flat by a fierce shot by Lazio’s Aleksandar Kolarov.

Saccani stayed motionless on the turf for a couple of minutes before getting up to continue with the match.
Torino stayed third from bottom after their fifth draw in a row.
In Naples, Napoli allowed Bologna to leave their Stadio San Paolo with a point.
Cristian Maggio opened the scoring for the hosts after good work from Argentines Ezequiel Lavezzi and German Denis on 20 minutes.
But the lead lasted only three minutes before Serie A top scorer Marco Di Vaio pounced on a defensive mix-up to slot home his 16th league goal of the season.
SSC Napoli’s Italian Serie A title hopes suffered a late setback on Sunday when they were held to a 2-2 draw at home against Genoa, setting up a thrilling season finale with closest rivals Inter just one point behind. The hosts remain top with 78 points, holding a slim lead over Inter, who won 2-0 at Torino earlier on Sunday, with two rounds remaining. To make matters worse for Napoli, midfielder Stanislav Lobotka, struggling with an ankle injury, was forced off just minutes after the match began. Scott McTominay delivered a perfect pass into the box where Romelu Lukaku got
Harry Kane opened the scoring ahead of lifting his first career silverware as Bayern Munich beat Borussia Moenchengladbach 2-0, with veteran Thomas Mueller playing his last home game for the club. Bayern officially won the title on May 4 when defending champions Bayer Leverkusen were held to a 2-2 draw at Freiburg, but were presented with the Bundesliga shield in front of their home fans at full-time. Dripping wet after being showered with beer by teammates, Kane said the title win was “an incredible feeling,” and hoped it would be “the first of many.” “It’s been lot of hard work, a lot of
