對話 Dialogue

Huáhua: Wǒ jiā fùjìn yě shì zhèyàng, tīng shuō wèile tígāo fúwù xiàolǜ, yuèláiyuè duō ménshì zhèngzài gǎizhuāng chéng “zhìqǔ ménshì”, suǒyǐ zhànshí bù jiēshòu dìngdān.
Qīngqing: Wǒ juéde běnlái de ménshì fúwù hěn hǎo a, wèishéme yídìng yào gǎi ne?
Huáhua: Gǎi chéng zhìqǔ ménshì de huà, bù xūyào èrshísì xiǎoshí yǒurén gùzhe, kěyǐ jiǎnshǎo rénlì chéngběn ba! Zàishuō, gùkè suíshí néng zìxíng qǔhuò, shíjiān shàng gèng tánxìng, bú shì gèng fāngbiàn ma?
Qīngqing: Huà shì zhèyàng shuō méicuò, dànshì zhèyàng yìlái bú jiù shǎo le rén hé rén hùdòng de rénqíngwèi le ma?
Huáhua: Yěxǔ ba, bùguò bǐqǐ rénqíngwèi, duì wǒ lái shuō bùlùn héshí xiàbān dōu ná de dào bāoguǒ gèng zhòngyào.
Qīngqing: Nǐ shuō de duì, búguò wǒ jiā fùjìn de ménshì gǎizhuāng wán hái yào hǎo yí zhènzi, ràng wǒ mā zìjǐ qù guàngjiē ba, tā yòu pà yùshàng rèqíng tuīxiāo de diànyuán, āi, zhè xiàzi Mǔqīnjié lǐwù gāi zěnme bàn?
Huáhua: Wǒ juéde bùrú nǐ zhǎo gè shíjiān péi āyí qù guàng guàngjiē ba! Yǒu nǐ zài pángbiān, diànyuán yīnggāi jiù bú huì guòlái dǎrǎo le.Lìngwài, xiànzài hěn duō diàn dōu yǒu zìzhù jiézhàng fúwù, āyí kěndìng néng guàng de kāixīn yòu méiyǒu yālì, zǒngguī yì jù, péibàn jiù shì zuì hǎo de lǐwù.

Qingqing: That’s strange — recently, I haven’t been able to select a pickup store on the shopping platform. What’s going on? If this keeps up, what should I do? The Mother’s Day gift I want to give my mom is about to fall through.
Huahua: It’s the same near my place. I hear that to improve service efficiency, more and more stores are being remodeled into “smart pickup stores,” so they’re temporarily not accepting orders.
Qingqing: I thought the original store service was already pretty good. Why do they have to change it?
Huahua: With smart pickup stores, there’s no need for someone to be there 24/7, so they can cut down on labor costs. Plus, customers can pick up their packages anytime they want, which makes things more flexible. Isn’t that more convenient?
Qingqing: That may be true, but doesn’t that take away the human interaction and warmth?
Huahua: Maybe, but for me, being able to get my package anytime after work is more important than a bit of the human touch.
Qingqing: You’re right, but the store near my home still needs quite a while to finish remodeling. If I let my mom go shopping by herself, she’s afraid of running into overly enthusiastic salespeople. Sigh, what should I do about the Mother’s Day gift now?
Huahua: I think you should find some time to go shopping with your mom. With you around, the salespeople probably won’t approach her. Also, many stores now have self-checkout services, so she can shop comfortably without pressure. All in all, the best gift is your company.

A: Recently, I’ve been seeing mosquitoes flying around in front of my eyes. The doctor said it’s the “flying-mosquito disease.” B: Flying mosquitoes? What a strange name. A: They’re actually called “floaters” in English, meaning floating debris. When fibrous substances in the vitreous body inside the eyeballs increase, floaters can appear in the visual field. B: Oh my goodness. Can you get rid of them? A: According to ophthalmologist Horng Chi-ting’s research, taking the enzymes of certain fruits is likely to help reduce floaters. A:
In Taiwan, people can use a platform to rent a power washer for a weekend or share unused garage space for someone’s storage needs. These are examples of the sharing economy, a consumption model that has gained widespread adoption worldwide. This approach allows people to rent or share assets like cars, homes or even services, typically through online platforms. This innovative model poses a simple yet powerful question: why purchase infrequently used items when sharing is more practical? By making useful but idle resources accessible, the sharing economy turns them into sustainable opportunities. Internationally, platforms like Airbnb and Uber have popularized
Bilingual Story is a fictionalized account. I stand by the Miluo River as dusk falls. The court betrayal is too much. I served Chu with loyalty. I forged alliances and fought corruption. But the whispers of jealous courtiers, the murmurs of treason, spoke louder. The king cast me out. The water looks calm. It promises peace. I step in. The river is cold against my legs. I hear shouts behind me — fishermen calling my name. I keep walking. The calls grow louder, but I do not turn around. The water rises to my chest. It pulls at me. I
A: What types of fruit enzymes should we take to help reduce eye floaters? B: According to a study published in the “Applied Sciences” journal by Taiwanese ophthalmologist Horng Chi-ting, pineapple, papaya and fig supplements can improve symptoms. A: Pineapples are in season now, so you should munch on more of those to get rid of floaters. B: Not quite. Enzymes can be damaged by our stomach acid if we eat the fruit directly. The doctor says taking fruit enzyme capsules is better for absorption. A: Most importantly, we should reduce our use of personal electronics to prevent floaters from
