Meet Kathleen the mouse and Mark the elephant. Kathleen is very brave and likes adventure, but Mark is very shy and scared of many things. But friends stay together, so Mark follows Kathleen wherever she goes. Sometimes they get into some very sticky situations.

With the fresh snow on the ground, Mark and Kathleen put on their winter caps and gloves so they would be ready to play in the snow.
"We're very lucky it snowed this year," Kathleen said.
"If you say so," Mark said warily. "I just hope I don't freeze to death."
"Bundle up and you'll be fine!" Kathleen called back as she ran outside.
When they got outside, Kathleen rolled around in the snow. Mark was timid at first, but soon made snowballs and got into a fun snowball fight with Kathleen.
Mark and Kathleen decided to build a snowman.
They made three large snow balls for a body. Then they used rocks for his eyes and mouth, a carrot for his nose, and sticks for his arms. "He's very cute!" said Mark, as he put his hat on the snowman.
Suddenly, the snowman shook his head. "Brrr, it's cold," he said ...

白雪皚皚覆蓋大地，馬克和凱薩琳戴起冬天的帽子和手套，準備在雪堆裡玩耍。

「穿多一點，你就會沒事！」凱薩琳跑向戶外時回頭大喊。
他們一步出戶外，凱薩琳就在雪?打滾，馬克一開始有點膽怯，但是很快就開始做雪球，開心地跟凱薩琳玩起雪球大戰。
馬克跟凱薩琳決定堆一個雪人。他們用三顆大雪球做身體，以石頭做眼睛和嘴巴，紅蘿蔔當鼻子，拿樹枝當手臂。「他好可愛喔！」馬克說著，就把他的帽子放在雪人身上。
突然，這個雪人搖搖頭，「呃，好冷。」他說話了…
