A Tribute to the Pioneering Artist — Dignity in Silence: A Retrospective Exhibition of Chuang So (向前輩藝術家致敬—沉默中的尊嚴:莊索回顧展). Chuang So (1914 to 1997) was born in Kaohsiung during the Japanese occupation and was an influential, if now largely forgotten, artist of the left-wing movement, painting pictures of the lives of ordinary people.

The Home Project, Fond Memories Too Far — Solo Exhibition by Kao Jun-honn (家,一個太遠的緬懷—高俊宏個展). Inviting participation from three local families, the artist reconstructs their memories of homes with family items, home videos, pictures, oral histories and written documentaries. The installation works dwell on people's ideas of home and opens up dialogue between people and the places of nostalgia we are destined to search for all our lives.

2006 Museum's Environmental Dance Exhibition (2006美術館環境舞展). The interdisciplinary exhibition/performance is a joint effort of the Taipei Crossover Dance Company (台北越界舞團) and installation artist Su Hui-yu (蘇匯宇) to reconstruct the museum's space as a platform for music, visual art, dance and theater. Dance performances take place every Saturday and Sunday at 2pm and 5pm.

Poetry of Lenses and Painting of Imagery — Photo Exhibition of Ke Hsi-chieh (鏡頭的詩,影像的畫—柯錫杰攝影展), a retrospective exhibition of the pioneering visual artist's works of the past 50 years. In his abstract and terse photographs, the art of photography goes beyond a simple documenting tool and traces the inner landscapes of the veteran photographer.
