A survey released on Sunday by the popular 1111 online job bank showed that Demos Chiang (蔣友柏) was seen as the best-looking career man in Taiwan, while his younger brother Edward won fifth place.
Of the 1,360 respondents interviewed, 53.68 percent chose the 1.85m-tall Demos as the most handsome. 13.24 percent gave their vote to Edward.
Demos, 29, and Edward, 27, are from the fourth generation of the Chiang family. Chiang Kai-shek and his son, the late president Chiang Ching-kuo (蔣經國), ruled for more than four decades. But the once-powerful family is no longer involved in politics after three of Chiang Ching-kuo's sons died.
The fourth generation mostly grew up in the US or received a Western education abroad. Demos and Edward returned to Taiwan several years ago to set up a popular design studio in Taiwan.
Demos was rated as the most handsome career man because respondents find him not only good-looking, but also full of a unique charismatic style, the 1111 Job Bank survey found.
