Chicago’s Matt Forte bounced back from two costly turnovers as the Bears beat the Philadelphia Eagles 30-24 in the NFL on Monday.
Quarterback Jay Cutler threw a go-ahead five-yard touchdown pass to Earl Bennett in the fourth quarter, capitalizing on the work of Forte, who ran for 133 yards.
It was a crushing loss for the Eagles (3-5), who blew a fourth-quarter lead for the fourth time this season. Their last chance evaporated when Jeremy Maclin fell and was tackled at the Bears 30-yard line after a nine-yard catch on fourth-and-10 with just under two minutes left.
