Kevin Youkilis singled, doubled and hit a tie-breaking homer in the 10th inning to rally the Boston Red Sox over the Cincinnati Reds 6-4 in Major League Baseball inter-league play on Saturday.
The Reds were the team Youkilis adored as a local college star and later resented when they passed him over in the draft. With more than 140 relatives and friends in the stands, the first baseman connected in the 10th off Mike Lincoln (0-2) to snap a 4-4 tie.
Coco Crisp homered off Lincoln on the next pitch.
