Six men have been arrested in connection with the killings of two Taiwanese students in the Dominican Republic, police said on Friday.
The two brothers, Ho Chen-ying (侯成穎), 22, and Kao Chen-hue (高陳輝), 18, were shot last Saturday at their home in Bonao, a mountain city about 90km north of Santo Domingo. Five other Taiwanese were injured in the shooting.
The six suspects arrested on Thursday near Santo Domingo were in possession of a blue Mitsubishi Montero that belonged to one of the victims, police said.
