Minister of Foreign Affairs James Huang (黃志芳) is going to give a speech at Stanford University on Friday and plans to talk about Taiwan's democracy and diplomatic policy. Huang was invited by Larry Diamond, a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution. He will talk about Taiwan's current diplomatic strategy and predicaments, the prospects for China's democratic development and the relations between Taiwan, China and the US. He will also attend a close-door discussion forum on how Taiwan's democratic experience will affect China's democracy.
