President Chen Shui-bian (陳水扁) yesterday decorated Oscar-winning film director Ang Lee (李安) with a medal of honor in recognition of his contribution to the nation's film industry. Lee, recent winner of the Oscar for best director for Brokeback Mountain, received the Order of the Brilliant Star, second class, from Chen at the Presidential Office.
