Jarome Iginla scored a goal in each period to lead the Calgary Flames to a 5-2 victory over the Los Angeles Kings in the NHL on Saturday.
Iginla completed his first hat trick of the season, and ninth of his career, with a shot from the right circle with 4:07 left in the game. It was his 11th goal in his past nine games.
The Calgary captain scored the Flames’ first goal just 13 seconds after the opening faceoff. He tied it at 2-2 during a 5-on-3 power play 6:51 into the second.
Daymond Langkow scored a key short-handed goal for Calgary to break a 2-2 tie early in the third period. David Moss also scored for the Flames.
Drew Doughty and Alexander Frolov scored for the Kings.

In Dallas, defenseman Stephane Robidas had two goals and two assists to push Dallas past New Jersey.
Rookie Tom Wandell scored the tiebreaking goal for Dallas midway through the third period.
Mike Ribeiro and rookie Warren Peters also scored for the Stars.
For the Devils, Brian Rolston scored twice, and Travis Zajac added a goal.

In Anaheim, California, Dany Heatley scored his NHL-leading 18th goal as San Jose pipped Anaheim, Heatley also set up Joe Thornton’s go-ahead goal in the third period. Ryane Clowe also scored for the Sharks.
Anaheim’s goals came from James Wisniewski and Ryan Whitney.
