Brendan Shanahan scored two goals and the New York Rangers beat the Ottawa Senators 5-2, handing the NHL's Eastern Conference champions their sixth straight loss on Saturday.
Henrik Lundqvist made 32 saves for his league-leading 14th win. Jaromir Jagr, Dan Girardi and Blair Betts also scored for New York, who took a 4-0 lead before Joe Corvo and Dany Heatley scored for Ottawa.
Daniel Alfredsson and Jason Spezza each had two assists for the Senators.

In Toronto, Mark Bell and Jason Blake scored long-awaited goals and Mats Sundin broke an 83-year-old record as Toronto beat Pittsburgh.
Bell's goal was his first with the Maple Leafs. Blake had not scored since Oct. 18.
Sundin's assist on Bell's goal extended his point streak in home games from the start of the season to a club-record 15. Babe Dye's mark of 14 had stood since the 1924-1925 season.
Nik Antropov and Alexei Ponikarovsky, with an empty-netter with 58 seconds left, also scored for the Leafs, who have won two straight for the first time since Oct. 27.
Erik Christensen and Ryan Malone scored third-period goals for Pittsburgh after they fell behind 3-0.

In Uniondale, New York, Kari Lehtonen turned aside 33 shots in his first NHL appearance in six weeks and Ilya Kovalchuk scored his NHL-leading 21st goal and added an assist in Atlanta's win against New York.
Lehtonen, who got his first shutout this season and eighth in his career, lost his first four decisions before he was placed on injured reserve with a groin injury. He has missed 16 games since Oct. 18.
Eric Boulton, Marian Hossa and Vyacheslav Kozlov also scored for Atlanta, who snapped a three-game losing streak.

In Tampa, Florida, Vincent Lecavalier had two goals and an assist, helping Tampa Bay stop a six-game skid.
Lecavalier's first goal of the game was his 250th in the NHL, coming in his 655th game. He has 16 goals and 39 points in 34 games against Boston.
Mathieu Darche and Martin St. Louis, with Lecavalier's 300th NHL assist, had the other goals for Tampa Bay.
