At Milwaukee, the New York bullpen cost Tom Glavine his 300th win as Geoff Jenkins hit a two-run homer off Aaron Sele in the 13th inning to give Milwaukee the win.
Glavine had allowed only two hits when Mets manager Willie Randolph took him out in the seventh inning with a runner on first and New York leading 2-1 with no outs.

At Washington, Ryan Zimmerman's three-run double was the biggest hit in a big Washington fifth inning that downed Cincinnati.
Rookie Matt Chico (5-6) earned the victory by going five innings. He gave up two runs, nine hits and three walks.
Chad Cordero pitched the ninth inning for his 22nd save.
Diamondbacks 4, Padres 0
At San Diego, Chris Young and Stephen Drew hit two-run homers as Arizona blanked San Diego.
Brandon Webb (10-8) allowed three hits in seven innings while striking out seven and walking two.
