Crawford leads NY to fourth in a row

At Milwaukee, Michael Redd scored 22 points, and Milwaukee (18-14) snapped a three-game losing streak by beating slumping Minnesota.

Marko Jaric nearly rallied the Timberwolves in the final minute, scoring 21 points to lead the Timberwolves, but missed a 3-pointer as time expired.

The Bucks blew fourth-quarter leads in two games against Cleveland and a game against Chicago.

The Timberwolves (15-17) have lost five of their last six.

Nuggets 139, Suns 137, 3OT

At Denver, Carmelo Anthony scored 43 points, including the game-winner with 2.9 seconds left in the third overtime, to lead Denver past Phoenix.

After Anthony swished a short jumper, Eddie House was short on a long jumper after a timeout. Shawn Marion tried unsuccessfully to toss it back up as the buzzer sounded.

Earl Boykins added a career-best 33 points for the Nuggets in their first triple-overtime game in a decade. It was the Suns' second triple-overtime in nine days: They lost at New York on Jan. 2.

Raja Bell led Phoenix with 30 points, followed by Marion with 28, Steve Nash with 26, James Jones with 22 and Boris Diaw with 12.

Clippers 90, Magic 73

At Los Angeles, Cuttino Mobley scored 18 points and the Los Angeles Clippers sent Orlando to its fifth straight road loss.

The Clippers were without Elton Brand, who missed his first game of the season because of a right hip bruise that occurred Dec. 23 at Charlotte.

Brand is averaging 10.7 rebounds, and Chris Wilcox grabbed a career-high 14 while making his first start of the season in Brand's place. Sam Cassell added 13 points, helping the Clippers end losing streaks of two straight overall and three in a row at home.

Jameer Nelson led Orlando with 18 points.

Spurs 96, Nets 91

At San Antonio, Tim Duncan scored 27 points, going 13-for-15 from the free throw line, and San Antonio snapped New Jersey's 10-game winning streak.

The Spurs withstood a late surge from the Nets and extended their home winning streak to 12.

Vince Carter, the league's eighth-leading scorer with 25.5 points per game, scored 34 on 11 for 29 shooting. Jason Kidd had 15 points and six assists for the Nets, who played without the injured Richard Jefferson.

Tony Parker had 18 and Manu Ginobili had 16 for San Antonio.
