The New Taiwan dollar yesterday traded relatively unchanged against its US counterpart at the Taipei foreign exchange market, dropping NT$0.002 to close at NT$33.284. Turnover totalled US$1.18 billion compared with the previous day's US$1.32 billion.
The local currency opened at NT$33.282 against the greenback and was traded between NT$33.210 and NT$33.290 throughout the session.
