It profits rose to US$208.4 million, or US$0.77 per share, from 60 million in the same quarter a year earlier, thanks to solid overseas business and better sales in its home market of the US. It said its sales also rose 8 percent to US$2.7 billion in its fourth quarter, which ended May 31.
TYPHOON: The storm’s path indicates a high possibility of Krathon making landfall in Pingtung County, depending on when the storm turns north, the CWA said Typhoon Krathon is strengthening and is more likely to make landfall in Taiwan, the Central Weather Administration (CWA) said in a forecast released yesterday afternoon.
