About 44.3 percent of people are satisfied with the current Cabinet’s performance, up 2.3 percentage points from last month, although 69 percent of respondents were not able to name a single minister, poll data released today showed.
Dissatisfaction with the Cabinet stood at 26.5 percent, down 0.7 percentage points from last month, a poll by My-Formosa.com found.
About 29.2 percent of respondents did not give a clear answer.

Taipei residents and opposition party supporters were more likely to express dissatisfaction.
Independents expressed a 33.9 percent approval rating, while 27.4 percent disapproved.
Pollsters also asked respondents to name the heads of 14 of the 31 Cabinet-level departments.
About 21.4 percent were able to name Minister of National Defense Wellington Koo (顧立雄), 13.8 percent could name Minister of Foreign Affairs Lin Chia-lung (林佳龍), 5.4 percent could name Minister of the Interior Liu Shyh-fang (劉世芳), 4.2 percent could name Minister of Economic Affairs J.W. Kuo (郭智輝) and 4.1 percent could name Minister of Culture Lee Yuan (李遠).

Taiwan-Japan Travel Passes are available for use on public transit networks in the two countries, Taoyuan Metro Corp said yesterday, adding that discounts of up to 7 percent are available. A pro-Russia hacker group has launched a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack on the Taiwanese government in retaliation for President William Lai’s (賴清德) comments suggesting that China should have a territorial dispute with Russia, an information security company said today.
