The drawing of the winning numbers of the Public Welfare Lottery was moved to Kaohsiung from Taipei for the first time yesterday, local media reported.
The winning numbers for the 68th issue of Taiwan's Public Welfare Lottery drawn on Sept. 13 were 07, 08, 14, 16, 20 and 23 -- with the special number 13.

Due to the rainy weather in southern Taiwan over the last few days, t lottery ticket sales were not as good as the bank had expected.
"Since people in the south do not participate as much as those in the north, I plan to move the lottery-drawing ceremony to southern Taiwan more often," said Richard Yang (楊瑞東), general manager of the bank's lottery department.
On Jan. 16, a total of 1.54 million lotto tickets were sold nationwide on the first day of the new computerized lottery.

There are 77 incidents of Taiwanese travelers going missing in China between January last year and last month, the Straits Exchange Foundation (SEF) said.
