Taiwan lost their first game of the U-12 Baseball World Cup to the US in Tainan yesterday.
The US defeated them 11-3 in the Super Round game after they only scored two runs in the first inning and one in the fifth. The US scored four runs in the fourth inning, with Tyler Kayden hitting a home run to deep center field.
In other Super Round games, Japan thrashed the Dominican Republic 13-1, while Venezeala edged South Korea 5-4.

In the Placement Round, the Czech Republic beat Australia 4-0, while Mexico annihilated New Zealand 29-0. Panama beat Germany 9-2.
