Substitute Adama Traore scored a superb second-half winner as LOSC Lille Metropole moved away from the relegation zone with a 1-0 win over Evian Thonon Gaillard in Ligue 1 on Wednesday.
After struggling to score goals during a poor first half of the season, Lille claimed only their sixth league win after Traore beat defender Cedric Cambion and fired home a low shot from the edge of the area in the 61st minute.
The win lifted Lille to 11th in the standings, five points above the 18th-placed visitors.

Players of both teams on Wednesday wore black armbands.
