Texas’ Mike Napoli hit a two-run homer and drove in four runs to power the Rangers to a 6-3 win over the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday for their sixth-straight win.
It was Napoli’s fourth home run in three games, to go along with a two-run double.

Texas starter Derek Holland (2-0) pitched seven solid innings, allowing four hits and striking out seven.
The Red Sox dropped their third consecutive game and Josh Beckett (1-2) took the loss, despite holding the Rangers down a night after they hit six homers in an 18-3 win.
WHITE SOX 8, ORIOLES 1
In Chicago, slugger Adam Dunn broke out of his slump by hitting a three-run double as Chicago beat Baltimore and ended a three-game skid.
Dunn had been 0 for 15 against left-handers this season before the opposite-field hit.
A.J. Pierzynski homered for the White Sox, while Jake Peavy (2-0) pitched seven sparkling innings with eight strikeouts and no walks.
Orioles starter Tommy Hunter (1-1) matched a career high with eight strikeouts, but was charged with eight runs in 5-2/3 innings.
RAYS 12, BLUE JAYS 2
In Toronto, Luke Scott hit a Grand Slam and Ben Zobrist added a two-run homer to lead Tampa Bay over Toronto.
Scott hit his third career Grand Slam as the Rays broke the game open with a six-run ninth.
Tampa Bay starter David Price (2-1) allowed two runs in 5-2/3 innings. He is 4-0 in five starts at the Rogers Center.
Blue Jays starter Brandon Morrow (0-1) allowed six runs in six innings and matched a career worst by giving up three homers.

Milwaukee’s Nyjer Morgan scored on a fly ball in the 10th inning to give Milwaukee a 3-2 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday, in the second late-inning thriller in a row for the Brewers.
With the bases loaded and one out, Ryan Braun lofted a shallow fly ball to center field.
Morgan took off for home despite the third-base coach urging him to stop at third.
He was called safe on a close play at the plate — although replays showed that he might have been tagged out.
Reliever Matt Guerrier (0-1) took the loss for the Dodgers.
Kameron Loe (1-0) earned the win.
BRAVES 14, METS 6
In Atlanta, Georgia, Dan Uggla ended his struggles against New York pitcher R.A. Dickey by hitting a two-run homer that contributed to the Braves’ big win over the Mets.
Uggla had been 0 for 24 against the knuckleballer before his home run capped a four-run third and gave Atlanta a 6-3 lead.
Juan Francisco homered in the second and Freddie Freeman hit a two-run drive in the fifth that ended the game for Dickey (2-1), who allowed eight runs in 4-1/3 innings in his worst outing in four years.
Atlanta have won seven of eight since opening the season with four losses, including three straight in New York.
David Wright had three RBIs, tying Darryl Strawberry for the Mets’ career record at 733.
Atlanta’s Cristhian Martinez (1-0) gave up one run in two innings to win in relief.
NATIONALS 3, ASTROS 2
In Washington, the hosts rallied in the eighth inning to overtake Houston and notch a third straight win.
Jayson Werth drew a bases-loaded walk and Wilson Ramos hit a sacrifice fly to put the Nationals ahead.
Washington drew three walks in the inning and scored twice.
Houston lost their fourth in a row.
CARDINALS 11, REDS 1
In St Louis, Missouri, Jaime Garcia pitched seven effective innings and hit a two-run triple as St Louis cruised past Cincinnati.
Garcia (2-0) allowed only one run and was aided by four double plays. He also helped himself, hitting a triple off the wall in center field in the sixth inning to make it 7-1 and end the night for opposing pitcher Mat Latos (0-2).
St Louis’ Carlos Beltran hit a two-run homer, his fifth of the season and second of the series.
