Daniel Winnik scored with 8 minutes, 8 seconds remaining and Zbynek Michalek added the critical power-play goal 1 minute, 16 seconds later for Phoenix.
Matthew Lombardi and Peter Mueller also scored against the Devils to help the Coyotes snap their four-game home losing streak.
