Jee Young-lee took a one-stroke lead in the Michelob Ultra Open, matching the course record with an 8-under 63, while the top three players at the start of Saturday, one of them Taiwan's Amy Hung, all failed to match par.
Hung was left tied for sixth with seven others after hitting a 74.
Lee had a bogey-free round on the 6,306-yard River Course at Kingsmill, tying the record set by Kim Williams in 2004 and matched by Sarah Lee in the first round. Jee was tied for the lead with Sarah Lee, the leader after each of the first two rounds, and assumed it alone when Sarah Lee faltered.

Sarah Lee lost her steady game and had three bogeys in a 72, and Becky Morgan couldn't back up the 65 that had her second at the midpoint. She shot a 74 as the wind blew in the players' faces on several holes, dropping into a three-way tie for eighth at 6-under 207.
Sean O'Hair birdied the final three holes to seize the lead after three rounds of the US$9 million Players Championship on Saturday.
O'Hair carded a six-under 66 that included a total of eight birdies en route to a 54-hole total of nine-under 207.
He took a one-shot lead over fellow-American Phil Mickelson, who capped his 69 with a tap-in birdie at 18 for 208.
"Considering the circumstances, probably one of [my] best rounds of golf," O'Hair said. "That definitely ranks up there."
World No. 1 Tiger Woods' woes continued with a one-over 73 that left him 14 shots adrift on 221.

Yamal’s effort and Fermin Lopez’s goal took Hansi Flick’s side seven points clear of Los Blancos with two matches remaining, to clinch Barcelona’s 28th title and complete a superb domestic treble. Only the UEFA Champions League title escaped an exciting young Barca side this season, as they won the league for the second time in six years, at Espanyol’s ground again just as in 2022-2023. Antonio Conte’s team stayed one point ahead of Inter and were unfortunate not to win after twice striking the woodwork through Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa and Matteo Politano, while Scott McTominay also had a free-kick tipped onto the crossbar. The away side thought they would be handed a chance to take the points from the penalty spot in the 96th minute when David Neres

American Gauff is to face Italy’s Jasmine Paolini in today’s title match after pulling through 7-6 (7/3), 4-6, 7-6 (7/4) in a match that lasted over three-and-a-half hours. Ruud was supposed to be Sinner’s toughest test in Rome since he came back from his three-month doping ban, as the Norwegian came into the match in hot form on clay after winning in
