Arsenal stretched its winless streak to four games on Monday after being held to a 0-0 draw at Newcastle in the Premier League.
Arsenal, which had lost its previous three games, lost for the first time in the league at Emirates Stadium on Saturday, falling to West Ham 1-0. The Gunners have never lost four straight games under manager Arsene Wenger.
"For us after three defeats, it was important not to lose, and maybe it could be a good point at the end of the season," Wenger said.
