Peter Schaefer scored the winning goal and Martin Gerber stopped 28 shots in the Ottawa Senators' 3-2 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers in the NHL on Saturday.
Tom Preissing and Mike Comrie also scored for the Senators.
The Senators swept the season series with the Flyers 4-0 and moved ahead of the Pittsburgh Penguins into fourth place in the Eastern Conference.

Dany Heatley saw his 16-game scoring streak end for Ottawa, which went 0-for-7 on the power play.
Canadiens 3, Maple Leafs 2, SO
At Montreal, Saku Koivu and Andrei Kostitsyn scored in the shootout after both scored in regulation, leading Montreal over Toronto.
Koivu scored on Montreal's third attempt to preserve the Canadiens' chances after Mats Sundin beat Jaroslav Halak on Toronto's second shot.
Halak, who had 37 saves in the game, forced Yanic Perreault wide on the Maple Leafs' third shot before Kostitsyn used a move similar to Koivu's as he deked Andrew Raycroft before putting a forehand into an open left side for the deciding goal.
It was the fourth shootout in seven games this season between the Northeast Division rivals.
Hurricanes 7, Devils 2
At East Rutherford, New Jersey, Chad LaRose scored two goals for the first time and Carolina sent Martin Brodeur to the bench with four goals on its first 12 shots in a victory over New Jersey.
Rod Brind'Amour, Ray Whitney and Josef Vasicek each had a goal and an assist in a big second period that LaRose capped with a goal against Devils backup Scott Clemmensen.
Scott Walker and Tim Gleason also scored for the defending Stanley Cup champions, who lost a 3-2 decision to New Jersey on Thursday in a game in which Brodeur stopped 38 of 40 shots.
David Clarkson scored his first NHL goal and set up another by Travis Zajac for the Devils, who have lost five in a row at home.
Rangers 7, Bruins 0
At New York, Ryan Callahan scored his first two NHL goals, and Matt Cullen added two and an assist during New York's six-goal second period that carried the Rangers to a victory over Boston.
Henrik Lundqvist was the beneficiary of the Rangers' highest scoring period this season. He stopped 30 shots for his fourth shutout of the season and sixth of his career. He tossed his stick into the crowd after being chosen as the top star of the game.
Sean Avery posted a career-high four points with a goal and three assists, and Jaromir Jagr chipped in with three assists for the Rangers, who tied their best offensive output of the season.
Panthers 8, Islanders 5
At Sunrise, Florida, Olli Jokinen scored two third-period goals to help Florida beat New York.
Ville Peltonen also scored two goals for the Panthers, and Rostislav Olesz, Gregory Campbell, Juraj Kolnik and Jozef Stumpel had one apiece. Ed Belfour stopped 28 shots.
Mike Sillinger and Ryan Smyth scored two goals apiece, and Marc-Andre Bergeron added a score for New York. Mike Dunham had 27 saves for the Islanders.
Belfour made his 23rd consecutive start for Florida, breaking the franchise record set by Roberto Luongo, who is now with Vancouver.

At Nashville, Tennessee, Kimmo Timonen scored two goals and established a career high for points in a season to lead Nashville over Dallas and spoil Mike Modano's record-breaking night.
Modano scored two goals to pass Joe Mullen and become the highest scoring US-born player with 503 career goals.
Blues 3, Oilers
At Edmonton, Alberta, Eric Brewer scored 2:04 into overtime and St. Louis extended Edmonton's losing streak to 10 games.
Petr Cajanek and Jeff Woywitka also scored for the Blues.
Kyle Brodziak and Shawn Horcoff countered for Edmonton, which has been outscored 37-9 during its streak, which is one loss short of the club record. The losing streak started one game before they traded Ryan Smyth to the New York Islanders at the NHL trade deadline.
Wild 4, Flames 2
At Calgary, Alberta, Brian Rolston scored the tiebreaking goal at 4:47 of the third period to lead Minnesota over Calgary and give the Wild their sixth straight win.
Rolston blasted a slap shot through the legs of Calgary goalie Miikka Kiprusoff for the Wild's first lead.
Pavol Demitra, who had an assist earlier, closed the scoring with 5:01 remaining. Marian Gaborik and Stephane Veilleux also scored for the Wild, while Niklas Backstrom stopped 19 shots to improve to 18-5-8.
Damond Langkow and Alex Tanguay scored for the Flames, losers of three straight.
