Toulouse center Florian Fritz was named France's player of the year on Monday while Fijian winger Rupeni Caucaunibuca was awarded player of the championship.
Caucaunibuca, who was not present as he is still in Fiji with his wife who gave birth to their second child in the middle of September, has been the leading try scorer in the last two seasons with 16 and 17 respectively for his club Agen.
Fritz has flourished in the international set-up this year, having made his Test debut against Australia at Marseille's Stade Velodrome in November last year.
