Sean Burke made 31 saves and Montreal-area natives Vincent Lecavalier and Martin St. Louis scored to lead the Tampa Bay Lightning to a 2-1 victory over the Canadiens on Monday night.
The Lightning snapped a two-game losing streak to move a point ahead of Montreal for seventh place in the Eastern Conference with 72 points.
Burke lost his shutout bid when Mike Ribeiro scored a power-play goal with 2:22 remaining, but the Lightning held on for their second win in seven games.

Lecavalier scored his 28th goal 11:52 into the second, ending Canadiens goalie Cristobal Huet's shutout streak at 163 minutes, 11 seconds.
Making his 14th consecutive start, Huet was coming off consecutive shutouts, including a 1-0 win over the New York Rangers on Saturday night.

At St. Louis, Christian Backman scored 3:49 into overtime for St. Louis to hand Columbus its first loss in 15 overtime games this season.
On the winning goal, Keith Tkachuk broke in on the left side and fired a shot at Columbus goalie Pascal Leclaire. Jay McClement crashed into Leclaire, leaving an opening for Backman to put the rebound into the open net.
Stars 4, Canucks 2
At Dallas, Mike Modano scored the go-ahead goal early in the third period and the Stars stretched their home winning streak to eight games.
Marty Turco made 26 saves, Jussi Jokinen had a goal and two assists, Jere Lehtinen and Jason Arnott added goals and Sergei Zubov had three assists to help the Stars win for the fifth time in six games. Anson Carter and Daniel Sedin scored for Vancouver.
Flames 4, Avalanche 3
At Calgary, Alberta, Jarome Iginla scored his 29th and 30th goals of the season, and Miikka Kiprusoff made 26 saves to help the Flames regain the Northwest Division lead.
Bryan Marchment and Chuck Kobasew also scored for the Flames, who rebounded from a 3-0 loss in Denver on Sunday to move a point ahead of second-place Colorado.
Joe Sakic, Milan Hejduk and Alex Tanguay had third-period goals for the Avalanche.
