Taiwan has many regional treats, and many cities and towns are famous for their special dishes. In Tainan, there's a very special item called a "coffin plank" (guan cai ban, in Chinese).
Sounds appetizing.
The guan cai ban, sometimes called a "coffin board" in English, is basically a piece of bread with a hole scooped out of it, with a bunch of stuff (meat, veggies, you name it) stuffed inside ... and then the whole thing is deep fried.
