Duties & goals
1. Could you specify the duties and goals of this position?

My major responsibilities in the previous job included organizing international conference events, contacting foreign clients and providing consultations for local companies.
Cleaning the restrooms and ordering meals for all the employees are our shared duties.
Position
2. Is this a newly-created position or an existing position?
副詞+過去分詞的複合形容詞很常見,如a newly-wedded couple「新婚夫婦」、a well-behaved kid「行為良好的小孩」和a densely-populated area「人口密集度高的區域」……
Expectation(s)
3. What’s your expectation of this position?
Our expectations are that there’s going to be a pay cut next month.
After months of anticipation, Mark has finally been officially promoted as the general manager of the company.
1. The Ruby Winery, established in 2003, has been leading our customers to explore the beauty of food and wine pairing with our __________ experts.
(A) high-respected
(B) high-respecting
(C) highly-respecting
(D) highly-respected
2. Considering all the mistakes the manufacturer __________, there’s little expectation of them producing any high-quality products.
(A) makes
(B) made
(C) has made
(D)have made
解析:

U2: Are ‘emoji’ words? Do all words need to contain letters? According to the Oxford English Dictionary, maybe not. In 2015, an “emoji” was nominated as its Word of the Year. Specifically, it selected the crying-laughing emoji. This sparked a debate on whether or not emoji count as words. Evolving from character-based emoji, such as :) and :D, picture emoji became massively popular throughout the 2000s. But can these little pictures and yellow faces actually be called words? Some argue that because they are not found in the dictionary, they cannot be considered words. However, slang words, many of which never appear in the dictionary,
