Are you an extreme fan?
你是一個鐵粉嗎?
My niece, Tammy, is crazy about BTS. When the group told the world that they planned to take a break, she cried for several weeks.
As an extreme fan, she spends lots of time and money on BTS: learning their songs and dances, buying many things about BTS, and flying to South Korea for their concert. She and other extreme fans have become good friends, so they share information, exchange goods, and support everything they say or do.
However, it’s not easy for extreme fans to accept criticism. Once a classmate of hers held different ideas about her idols, she had a big fight with him. In the end, the teacher had to deal with it.
Admiring singers or actors isn’t a bad thing, but don’t go to extremes.
