Economic stagnation and high stress levels are ostensibly causing middle-aged, white-collar men to perform inadequately. Chen Yu, a doctor at Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital’s urology department, has recently observed a sharp increase in the number of white-collar males aged 35 to 45 coming in to his office for erectile dysfunction (ED). Diagnoses have found that most ED patients are fatigued from overwork and under too much pressure, causing them to have the desire but lack the physical strength. Among his patients, many of them also stay up late at night, which can affect the endocrine system and lead to ED.
Chen says that the number of white-collar workers coming in for ED has recently increased by around 20 percent. Among them there are also patients between 20 and 30 years old, showing that there is a pattern of ED patients gradually getting younger. Chen has deduced that this is probably because young people enjoy staying up late and playing with their smartphones all the time, which increases the secretion of hormones like prolactin, negatively impacting the endocrine system. If they have other problems, such as smoking cigarettes or sleeping disorders, it can make a young male experience reduced physical strength and libido.
If one experiences impotence during intercourse, besides seeing a doctor, you can try different sexual positions to test yourself to see if you have ED, Chen says. According to a survey conducted by the hospital that was given to 300 men with mild ED, surveying the level of satisfaction in their sex life, many of the patients could only have intercourse in the traditional missionary position because they were unable to use more difficult positions due to weak erections and impotence, Chen says.

If you find that you are unable to use alternative sexual positions, perhaps you should be wary of the possibility that you have a physical or mental disorder and should seek medical help to avoid exacerbating the problem and developing more severe ED, Chen says.

Jiang Yiwu paced the small room and wondered how the leader of the Literary Society had got here. He could hear the Russian and Manchu police outside. They were looking for him. The Russians controlled the railways now, cutting through China, taking land and resources. The people were angry, and so was he. The revolution was almost ready. But things went wrong. Sun Wu, a key leader, lay in the hospital with critical wounds. The explosives were meant for the revolution but detonated by accident. Sun and the revolutionary plans were discovered by the police. Jiang grimaced at the
At an unusual event, a group of people gather and sit together without interacting or checking their phones. Instead, they concentrate on nothing at all and empty their minds for the Space-Out Competition. Originally proposed by South Korean artist Woopsyang in 2014, this event is a form of performance art. It challenges the social expectation to remain constantly busy in this fast-paced world, offering competitors a pause from their routines. For 90 minutes, players are scored on how well they “space out” based on artistic and technical aspects, with their heart rates monitored every 15 minutes. Then, the audience votes for
A: Taiwanese-language pop singer Jody Chiang is finally staging a comeback after having “turned off the microphone” for nine years. B: Yeah, she’s set to perform for the National Day celebration at the Taipei Dome this Saturday. A: As the best Taiwanese-language singer, it would be a big loss if she continued her hiatus. B: Recently, Chiang revealed that she quit singing in 2015 due to cancer. A: That’s shocking. But it’s great to see her healthy and able to turn the mic back on again. (By Eddy Chang,
People are retesting positive for COVID-19 again; doctors suggest three consecutive negative results before discharging . . . . Taiwan has implemented stricter requirements when releasing patients, now requiring three consecutive negative tests instead of just two. 可以說tested positive and negative on and off。如: I am currently infected with Covid-19 in Brisbane, Australia. . . . for 17 days and testing positive and negative on and off.
