A defense official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said that the delegation is to arrange for the delivery of four Kidd-class destroyers.
"They are the first batch of naval personnel to be sent to the US for the delivery missions. They are led by Rear Admiral Gong, who is responsible for the navy's weapons procurement," the official said.
