Faced with an imminent ruling in its landmark antitrust case, Microsoft has continued to fight it out in the court of public opinion.
The company's 70-page conclusions of law was published on the software giant's Web site Tuesday. The document can be viewed at http://www.mi-crosoft.com/presspass/trial -- along with other statements and news items about the case.
The software giant also maintains a Web site called the "Freedom to Innovate Network," a "non-partisan, grassroots network of citizens and businesses."
Though the site is a wealth of information about the US government's antitrust trial, it also serves as a call-to-arms for the Microsoft faithful. "With rumors that the government is calling for Microsoft's breakup appearing recently in USA Today and elsewhere, now is the time to let your elected officials know how you feel about the case," the Web site states.
Meanwhile, over on a bulletin board site for Microsoft investors maintained by Yahoo, one supporter was soliciting the help of others for a protest action scheduled for March.
"Lets all take March 15th off -- don't go to work -- lets show the government what jerks they are for trying to hurt a company that has ONLY improved our lives," the anonymous supporter wrote.

State-run CPC Corp, Taiwan (CPC, 台灣中油) yesterday signed a letter of intent with Alaska Gasline Development Corp (AGDC), expressing an interest to buy liquefied natural gas (LNG) and invest in the latter’s Alaska LNG project, the Ministry of Economic Affairs said in a statement.
