Most Japanese say they are not tempted to invest in the financial markets unless the economy begins to show clear signs of recovery, a newspaper reported yesterday. The Yomiuri Shimbun daily, citing a Cabinet survey released over the weekend, said 82.7 percent of people surveyed said they would not invest in stocks while 87.7 percent would avoid government bonds.
