Fishermen pull up freshwater crabs from their pond, the water for which is pumped in from Taihu Lake in Dongshan, Jiangsu Province, China, on Thursday. Taihu, China's third-largest lake, is still recovering from an outbreak of poisonous algae last year brought on by industrial waste and sewage. International World Water Day is observed today.
