Reinventing the axle
Jiro Saito, vice president of Japanese electric vehicle manufacturer Axle, rides the company's Axle EV-X7, a motorcycle powered by a new hybrid magnetic motor, at the Twin Ring Motegi, about 100km northeast of Tokyo on Thursday. The EV-X7 can travel up to 180km on one charge.
