Bookshelf of the future

Keio University postgraduate student Kaori Ochiai displays a prototype of an electronic bookshelf, the ``Biblio Roll,'' at the university's forum for advanced technology in Tokyo yesterday. Consisting of three LCD displays in a transparent tube, the device enables the user to choose a book's cover from the top screen and display its contents on the other two LCDs.Nov 24, 2005
