Soup with a bite
A Thai cook shows a can of essence of crocodile soup at the Samutprakan Crocodile Farm and Zoo in the outskirts of Bangkok, Thailand, on Thursday. Thailand hopes to export frozen crocodile meat worth about 700 million baht (US$17 million) to China after Chinese authorities agreed to import the reptilian treat. Crocodile meat, deemed an aphrodisiac, sells for about 1,000 baht (US$24) per kilogram in Thailand.
