Futuristic Paleontology
Dinosaur robots walk during a press preview in Tokyo yesterday. The parasaurolophus, front, is 1.6m tall, 3.5m long and wighs 85kg, while the tyrannosaurus, back, is 1.5m tall, 3.5m long and wighs 87kg. Japan's New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization and the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology developed the dinosaur-shaped robots to be displayed during the six-month World Exposition which will open on March 25 in Aichi Prefecture, central Japan.
