Ever closer union
A view of London Waterloo railway station shows three Eurostars waiting for passengers, Saturday. A new time of two hours and 35 minutes between London and Paris was set on Saturday after a train reached 300.7kph on the new 74km high-speed line section in England. The trip form London to Brussels is now two hours and 20 minutes, while London to Paris is two hours and 35 minutes.
