An elephant walks in a marsh in the Amboseli National Park in Kenya on Tuesday. The Kenya Wildlife Service and Tanzanian government agencies joined up with various wildlife non-governmental organizations on Tuesday to begin a week-long aerial census of elephants and other large mammals in the shared ecosystem of the Amboseli-West Kilimanjaro and Natron-Magadi landscape to help the authorities make conservation and management policies.Oct 10, 2013
