Not enough trees
An Indonesian man lifts his baby on his shoulder as he and others wade through their flooded neighborhood at a low-lying area in Jakarta yesterday. Conservationists and scientists say deforestation reduces the capacity of the ecosystem to regulate water and also leads to soil erosion and landslides.
