Beautiful but deadly
A couple walks in the snow-covered Palais Royal garden in Paris yesterday. Temperatures plunged as snow blanketed downtown Paris and other parts of France where two homeless men died of the cold and a third man was found frozen to death in his car, in which he had been living. The French authorities responded by raising their weather alert in 31 departments and asked for ``increased vigilance'' in Paris.
