People gather in Baghdad's squalid western Ghazaliya District yesterday at the scene of an explosion that occurred late on Tuesday night. Thirty people were killed when a house used by suspected insurgents was blown up during a police raid, in the latest calamity to befall Iraqi security forces with national elections barely one month away.
