Flash Floods
Emergency workers sift through damaged buildings in Boscastle, a popular tourist village in Cornwall in the UK, on Wednesday, the second day after a flash flood caused devastation in the town. No one was injured in the flooding, but dozens of cars were washed away and much of the village was severely damaged. The Royal Air Force on Wednesday airlifted 57 people to safety after landslides trapped their cars on a road in Scotland.
