The Bush administration's policy of barring news photographs of the flag-covered coffins of service members killed in Iraq won the backing of the Republican-controlled Senate on Monday. This photo was released by the Pentagon in April after free speech activist Russ Kick filed a Freedom of Information Act request, which gives citizens the right to ask for information from the government that is not classified.
