Peasants from Mexico State receive documents Tuesday enabling them to live and work in Canada between May and December of this year. An agreement reached between the Mexican government and Canadian businesses will provide 1,500 workers with airline tickets, lodging and health care and will allow them to work in growing flowers, tobacco and Christmas trees, earning US$6 to US$8 an hour.
