Tui-ty bird
A male tui, a native bird of New Zealand, takes a break from feeding on cherry blossoms in an inner city suburb of Auckland, New Zealand's largest city, on Tuesday. The tui, which has a distinctive croaking and gurgling song, is a protected species and is attracted by flowering trees and shrubs and feeds on nectar, fruit and berries. It is also known as the ``parson bird'' a reference to the prominent white tuft of feathers at its throat.
