But Kashmir Chief Minister Azad said he was "very satisfied" with the "pace of rehabilitation and reconstruction in the quake-hit areas."
"The devastated villages are being built with all basic amenities," he said.
In Salamabad, however, villagers remain skeptical.
"Allah knows how much time it will take us to rebuild our house. But when it gets completed -- say in three or four years -- it will be the happiest day of our lives," said Begum Jan, another mother of seven.
