Nearby, Quirk was planning ahead. He was preparing to talk with the Munchkins to see who they might network with.
"We're trying to get into Monkeys," Quirk said. "They're hard to find."
Dorothy Agrippino, who chose to open her pet grooming store in Chittenango because of its ties to Oz, said she hoped to arrange for some of her customers to march in the parade next year.
"I have plenty of clients that look like Toto," she said.
